Rotary Walk is a charity and community activity platform associated with the Rotary Club of Pattaya, Thailand. Depending on how you use Rotary Walk, we may collect or process the following information:
• Account information: such as your name, email address, profile image, country, Rotary club or other profile information you choose to provide.
• Sign-in information: when you sign in using services such as Google, Apple or Facebook, we may receive basic account information made available by that provider and permitted by you.
• Activity and step information: such as step counts, walking activity, distance or related activity data required to provide competitions, rankings and progress features.
• Health or fitness permissions: where applicable and only with your permission, Rotary Walk may access activity information through platform services such as Apple Health/HealthKit, Android Health Connect, device motion or fitness APIs, or equivalent system services. Rotary Walk only accesses data needed for app functionality.
• Competition and leaderboard information: including events entered, steps recorded, rankings, country or club affiliation, and information you choose to make visible as part of a competition.
• Transaction information: such as information about an event registration or contribution. Full payment card details are not intended to be stored by Rotary Walk where payments are processed by Apple, Google or another payment provider.
• Device and technical information: such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash information, diagnostic information and technical logs where needed for security, troubleshooting or operation of the service.
• Communications: information you provide when contacting Rotary Walk for support, questions, account requests or other communications.
• create and manage user accounts;
• authenticate users and provide secure sign-in;
• record steps and activity for Rotary Walk events and competitions;
• calculate rankings, leaderboards and participation statistics;
• administer charity events, registrations and related services;
• provide customer support and respond to requests;
• maintain, troubleshoot and improve the application and website;
• protect the service, users and Rotary Walk against fraud, misuse, security incidents and technical problems;
• comply with legal, regulatory or accounting obligations where applicable.
Rotary Walk does not use health or fitness information for advertising, profiling for advertising, or the sale of personal data.
Rotary Walk is designed around participation in walking activities and competitions. Certain information, such as a participant name or display name, profile image, country, Rotary club, step total, ranking or competition result, may be displayed to other users where this is necessary for leaderboard or competition functionality. Users should avoid placing sensitive personal information in profile fields that may be visible to other participants.
Rotary Walk may rely on third-party service providers to operate the application and website. Depending on the version of the app and features used, these may include authentication providers, Apple or Google platform services, hosting providers, analytics or crash-reporting services, payment processors, email or notification providers, and other technical service providers. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and their own privacy terms. Rotary Walk expects service providers handling personal information on its behalf to apply appropriate privacy and security protections.
Rotary Walk does not sell personal information. We may share information only where reasonably necessary:
• with service providers that help operate the application, website or related services;
• with Apple, Google or other platform providers where required for app functionality or payments;
• with event administrators where necessary to administer a Rotary Walk event or competition;

• where necessary to protect the rights, safety, security or integrity of Rotary Walk, its users or others.
Rotary Walk uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we seek to use security measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed.

Permissions for activity, fitness, notifications, photos or other device features can generally be changed through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent some Rotary Walk features from functioning.
